1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OnPageIQ ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

OnPageIQ provides website content analysis tools including spelling and grammar checking, broken link detection, SEO analysis, and related services ("Services"). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Scan websites without proper authorization
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure
  • Use automated systems to access the Service beyond intended API usage

5. Subscription and Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

  • Free tier: 5 page scans per month, limited features
  • Paid tiers: As described on our pricing page
  • Usage beyond plan limits may result in additional charges or service restrictions

6. Credits and Usage

Credits represent page scans and are consumed when you scan URLs. Credits do not roll over between billing periods unless explicitly stated in your plan terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by OnPageIQ and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit for scanning. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Website content submitted for scanning is processed temporarily and not stored beyond the analysis period.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. CONTENT ANALYSIS RESULTS ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS THE SOLE BASIS FOR DECISION-MAKING.

10. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL ONPAGEIQ BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
